I'd like to see Obama take a trip the Niger Delta. Maybe he'd see how wonderful American Corporations are to the great people.

Since it IS on US taxpayers dime,I would love to send him to China !

Going home for the holidays huh? Well, considering that he is under-par for presidential vacation days, I would say that this is a non-issue. Who really cares if he goes to hang with family for the holidays?

Can anyone actually believe that he will not still be engaged in US affairs, or is he going to give Biden the keys to the country and tell him to "do whatever, just don't call me!"?

There are many things we can ridicule Obama for, but this is petty.

ETA: Since the word "homeland" was used, and he is going to Maui....does this mean the birther issue is finally dead?

He needs to take a break. A long one. I'd be happy if he just never went back to work. If he's not in Washington screwing with laws that'll affect all of us, the the longer the better. I never thought I'd say this but I'd pay higher taxes JUST to pay for his damned vacations!

Get a new president in now while he's gone.
He's so busy talking about how wonderful he is, he might not notice!

Remember though, Obama found a way to make us miserable from anywhere he may be. The Auto-Pen has been used to sign actual legislation with his model.

Representing all of the fine people here on Maui, I am confident to say that the scourge known as Barry Soetoro is not from the Valley Isle. His "homeland," must be that other island that we here refer to as the Big City, otherwise known as Oahu. Kailua, Oahu, to be exact. (or is it Indonesia? I'm not sure, but positive it is not Maui.)
