I agree that have full controll over your autonomic reaponses can have its advantages. I have yet to see a monk pull of a kamahamaha wave. Conciously Manipulating you body temp or pain tolerance is the result of millions of years of evolution and concentrated study by the individual. Its the result of a complex pattern of electrical impulses and heat.
