The debate is not between creationism and evolution but between Universalism and Catastophism.

Since the majority of humanity are not even aware that Universalism and Catastrophism exist as theories they are distracted by different theories that contain some truths but nothing as awe inspiring as the Catastophism theory!

Best that the many never know of the existence of these possibilities or they might take a very different view on life.....and then how the economists and bankers would despair at the rebelliousness of 'their sheep'.

Call me a cynic, but debating with creationists seems a big waste of time. You may as well argue with a wall.
The feeling is mutual.

"Debating creationists on the topic of evolution is rather like trying to play chess with a pigeon; it knocks the pieces over, craps on the board, and flies back to its flock to claim victory." -- Scott D. Weitzenhoffer (From an Amazon.com book review)
