Coming Comet?

Hi,

the coming comet thats on the news and on here quite a bit is due soon, im finding it hard to get info that isnt 'end of the world stuff''. does anyone know when its gonna be visible and where we can see it?. i understand there a lot of issues surrounding it, but can you help me get a look at it?

It's not a comet it's an asteroid. But yeah, spaceweather has a good little description.
And no you wont be able to see it with out a telescope.

I think it's funny but we can't even see it without a telescope but people would have us fear for our lives stating it's going to hit earth or the moon. Reminds me of that Nibiri thing that's right there but no one can see it.

What about the light from the sun, won't it reflect off of the asteroid?

Geez i hope we can see it...
