Oh and you know what disappointed me most about Superman Returns and then Man of Steel? The fact that Tom Welling played Clark Kent for a decade in Smallville and lost out first to Brandon Routh and then to Henry Cavill when it came to the movie versions.

Did you ever really want to see Dean Cain do a superman movie?
Did he really lose out, (like he auditioned and got turned down), or did he even try?

The only thing I want to see Tom Welling do is a "Metropolis" series, (last ever Smallville epi next tuesday in the UK).

Dean Cain I didn't like at all but yeah, Tom, Brandon and Henry all auditioned for Superman Returns and Brandon got the part (which is ironic in a way because Brandon auditioned to play Clark in Smallville and lost to Tom).

It's like the costune thing I mentioned though, get used to something for so long and having something different seems odd and horrible to consider.
