Libyan rebel: I killed Gaddafi -Video-

The rebel, who identified himself as Senad el Sadık el Ureybi, said: "We grabbed him, I hit him in the face. Some fighters wanted to take him away and that's when I shot him twice, in the head and in the chest." He noted that Gaddafi didn't die instantaneously, and that it took half an hour. He said he didn't like the idea of Gaddadi being caught alive. The video also shows a bloodied shirt which allegedly belonged to the dictator and a golden ring with his wife's name engraved on it. The claims cannot be confirmed as of yet.

While there is a chance that this guy is just trying to get attention, I think it's probably legit. I have no problem with Gaddafi being killed, but I am no impressed with the execution (seewhatididthere). If you have a prisoner, it is my opinion that they should have a trial. Not be beaten and paraded around like a trophy. So the guy didn't want him captured alive... Well he was. You just made the whole World question your country bubba.

Or some people over there have that much pent up anger that they think he does not deserve a trial and ended it with his death. Ether way trial or no trial he was a dead man, better a $2 bullet then millions on a trial that would have had the same ending.

I saw this earlier today. This thug also is a cold blooded murder, if he actually did what he says he did.

I hope he gets arrested and sent to trial. The whole gang of them were acting like savages beating a defenseless man.
