Information Minister Mahmoud Shammam said he was told that Gadhafi was dead from fighters who said they saw the body. He said he expects the prime minister to confirm the death soon, noting that past reports emerged "before making 100 percent confirmation." Several revolutionary groups fighting in Sirte also reported Gadhafi was either killed or captured.

but if its true whats the next step for Libya

There are already several threads about this. And btw he's apparently been confirmed dead and some threads include a link to an image supporting this.

Did you do a search before you posted? If not, I'd recommend it whenever it's a hot news topic.

EDIT: Just saw your edit where you say you looked. Ok. Fair enough.

Rather than use search, just keep a window open to the Real-time ATS Activity Page.

That way you won't miss any new threads as they pop up.

It's how I found yours, by the way.

NEW EDIT: Love your change to the title, OP! Nice one. Star for you! And don't worry, many of us had had the same problem. Keep a page open for the "Fire hose" (New threads) like I said and you'll be up to speed all the time.
