codename: TPAJAX project

CIA history of operation TPAJAX excerpted below was first disclosed by James Risen of The New York Times in its editions of April 16 and June 18, 2000, and posted in this form on its website at:

www.nytimes.com...

this extremely important document is one of the last major pieces of the puzzle explaining American and British roles in the August 1953 coup against Iranian Democracy. the 200-page document is essentially an after-action report, apparently based in part on agency cable traffic and Wilber’s interviews with agents who had been on the ground in Iran as the operation lurched to its conclusion.

the Wilber history is all the more valuable because it is one of the relatively few documents that still exists after an unknown quantity of materials was destroyed per routine in the 1960s, CIA now says that about 1,000 pages of documentation remain locked in agency vaults.

YEP. That marks the beginning of our move to control the Middle East. (besides Israel) When the Shah was deposed by Khomenni, America suffered a minor set back but soon armed and pitted both Iraq an Iran against each other (our man in Iraq). This began the destabilization of the region and opened the door for our entry thru Kuwait and eventually Iraq. America's biggest embassy in the whole world is in Iraq. We ain't leaving EVER.

Some how that elusive golden Iranian egg still eludes US though. I can hear wailing and gnashing of teeth coming from inside the penta(gram)gon.

This began the destabilization of the region

The region was never stable. Well... atleast after 1918 when Britain and France dominated the region. Illogical frontiers were carved up giving little consideration to the ethnic divisions and groupings in Africa and the Middle East. A general rule of thumb (it dosen't apply all the time) is, if you see straight lines between populated border region there will generally be instability or conflict.

As for Operation Ajax. Trully it was a sad day. The British convinced America to overthrow the democratically elected nationalist (not socialist) president of Iran. Ironically Britain recieved even less profit as most the contracts went to American oil companies instead of Anglo-Iranian Oil. Not only did this bring into power Khomeini and Islamic fundementalism in Iran but it also aided the spread of terrorism. As Iran exported the Islamic revolution through Hezbollah other Islamic fundementalists essentially copied Iran and Afghanistan was inspired by the Islamic Republic of Iran (the first actual institutionalized shi-ite Islamic state). That is why many say America can blame itself for propogating terrorism.

Perhaps TPTB are planning a "return ticket" for that 1953 coup.

With many frozen assets from the 70's still in the deep freeze, the money is available, at Iran's expense of course !

The old regimes started in the 600's and has been "on hold" since 1979.

The Shah's eldest son Reza Pahlavi is the Prince Regent, meaning if the Peacock Throne was ever restored he would be the one in line for it.

He has "visions" for the future....

Reza's Visions for Iran
