Love is a gamble and twice I have rolled the dice. For the passion with me and my ideal soul mates, a risk was nothing short of life itself. In the end, my ribs cage was a casino and my heart was left penny less, jacked, & beaten. The drop was like free-falling from the skies only to land flat in a puddle of mud. As my reality began to sink in, the pain became evident. I was struck with poison; I blew the dice for luck and ended up emotionally paralyzed from the bite of snake eyes.

I am sure many would like to take a peek into the world of romance I have endeavored throughout my journey, but sadly the torment still cuts deep into my flesh. The wound is still dripping blood as if the razor blade just gently sliced over the top layer of skin. One day, these lacerations will turn into scabs and over the years, they will become scars. Yet, when my soul itself has left my body will those scars heal and the frustration be no more.

If love was a battlefield than twice I have landed on a mine of emotions that has left me destroyed. I am not bomb proof. It is as if my soul exploded in the air like scrap metal from an I.E.D. My body is battered and bruised, my heart beats slowly and my pulse is fading. You can only play a soldier in this game for so long before it is as if you are being carried away on a stretcher. This was apparent until recently, I have been revived. The war continues.

She isn’t a nurse nor does she play one on TV. Somehow this beautiful, young independent woman has brought life back into these lungs. Lately, I have thought I couldn’t survive any longer. I figured my last breath was due and I had no more air to gasp for. To me, she brings new meaning to the coined phrase “soul mate”. If asked, I consider her my “soul fate”. She is beyond just my companion. This wasn’t a risk or a chance. This is like God’s book of life because this chapter of my existence, he writes for us in great detail that we were meant to be.

My future is a young twenty five year old woman by the name of Diane. She currently works as a secretary for a component distribution company. Her choice of vehicle may not be a Rolls Royce or a Porsche but this little fire cracker is nothing short of elegance. Her poise and charisma is beauty within itself. When I look into her eyes, they sparkle more than the finest of cider. We may not be on the same channel and have our different styles or opinions, but if love was a remote control, we click.

In conclusion, the idea of a soul mate is easy to perceive but hard to maintain. To find the perfect person it may take a lot of searching and leave you yearning for affection. This is a harsh world we live in and quite frankly the chance of each one of us finding that “special someone” may never come. We need to open our eyes and see what’s most important. Love isn’t about probability, there is no ratio. If it’s meant to happen than it will. All in due time, I got one…

Thank you for your story, and I wish you much love.
The biggest pain get's acceptable when you can share it.
Love is the only thing that matters, ever. And not just on a personal basis.

Thanks,
OnlyLove.
