The American economy is gigantic. It is also very dependent upon war and destruction which take about 40% of federal revenues. That´s staggering
especially when you consider that the federal deficit amounts to about 40% of revenues. So, it´s a huge unemployment reservoir.
Nothing is as un-productive as armies of military and security personnel. So you see that the system meets the rising waves of overcapacity by dumping
this un-productive labor force into reservoirs of unemployment. It´s a policy that´s doomed to fail obviously. It´s a political system that´s in
terminal decay.
Like any peace loving human on this planet, I am totally and absolutely against wars, the killing of fellow humans. But I am a pragmatic man as well.
The irony of peace is that you need to FIGHT for it, just like freedom.
You and I may love peace, but unfortunately, there are some humans who may be the missing link between man and apes, and had never risen out of the
jungles. They exists as long as our current civilisation exists, which accounted for the numerous wars for centuries.
Thus a need for defense, made possible only through the evolution of weapons and armaments, from the humble flint arrow to our Patriot Missiles, cos
what one human can create, so too can another. Knowing human nature, thus the wisest course of action is to defend peace by having at least a credible
arsenal, so that those sub-humans will have to think twice before thinking of dominating our more peaceful species.
And also thus a need for an armament industry. At least in a democracy, a peaceful sovereign people can stop a wrong or unjust war being wage through
our sacred votes. In dictatorships, there is no one to stop such wars being waged or stopped.
As long as man has not evovle, armament industry, just like porn industry, both known since the start of civilisation, will not end, thus many will be
able to find employment in it. We can and MUST do all possible to prevent wars, espacially total wars, but bushfires are more difficult to do so.
We can only supply or sell such armaments/protection to those who want peace but are prepared to stand and fight for it, the least we in a democracy
can only do, for dictatorships are more than happy to help and supply weapons for their fellow sub- humans to win.
And this is the only pride workers will have as they face each new morning to create human killing machines - for defensive purposes that the other
side will not hesitate to manufacture more to kill even more humans if unstopped or unchecked, to balance it all out in the hope that not one shot
will be fired when cooler heads prevail.Sub-humans are known to be dumbasses but will only baulk in the face of superior firepower.
