Set in real time, 1951, this is a story about a star approaching the earth that has an orbiting planet. The discoverers go to the UN and are ridiculed by the other scientists and laughed at. There is no NASA in the movie.

Eventually everyone finds out the truth. Do you think probes should be ready to go along with objects orbiting Nibiru?
Maybe one of the objects is inhabitable. Should CETI be looking for signals coming from the direction of Nibiru? Do the crop circles have anything to do with Nibiru? Could they be some sort of transmitted signal?

Do you think the Sci Fi community has given this topic the interest it deserves? After all, real or not, there are possible story lines here.

Although I don't trust Hollywood, they do follow trends.
Musical movies,
Alien movies,
Car racing movies,
Brain numbing moronic comedy movies,
Mandatory date movie love stories,
Superhero movies,
and of course the inevitable comet/asteroid impact movies.

After the internet buzz about planet 10 and Nibiru, the upcoming trend flicks are steering toward rogue planets/stars movies.
We will be seeing more of these.

We should probably gas up the rockets if Nibiru actually existed.

It doesn't, so I really don't see the point.
