I must say with Irene going on and stuff, the other side of the world is getting bad as well.

A lot of strange weather occurrences. Is it just Mother Nature doing what it does best, or is it something else that we need to be looking out for?

I think it's actually been a fairly quiet season in the East Pacific as well as the Atlantic so far this year.

The interesting thing about Nanmadol and Talas is that at one stage it looked like they might merge

Yeah they did, but Nanmadol is slightly South West behind Talas at the moment. Talas seems to be gaining momentum as it heads toward Japan. I guess we will just have to keep an eye out, and see what these two end up doing.
