TL;DR - I have a question at the bottom.

I've come across ATS in my various searches before. Only recently have I begun interacting.

I was skeptical at first, assuming the place must be full of loons, and whackos. However, it seems there are a lot of level-headed people on here who actually look at some of this crazy crap and sift through the junk and either find the gems, or throw them out.

I like that.

I've been around for a while. Some may even recognize the handle, but that is not extremely likely.

I've gone through the motions of naivety, deep conspiracy theorist, staunch skeptic, to political observer and more and around. It astonishes me how corrupt the "official" organizations are, but I think what astonishes me even more is how utterly corrupt the "alternative" organizations are too.

Is anything legit? Yes ... But my goodness you have to look hard, and think diligently to find it.

I look forward to interacting with you all.

Since I cannot post, I have one question that popped into my mind this morning:

(1) Do you guys remember RC (Hoagland) talking on C2C a while back about Von Braun's "50 year old secret?" He said it was going to be a three part article, and part two was done at the time of the interview. He is on record [paraphrase]

This is probably the most important show we've ever done. Because in the next article, part 3, we're going to post plans that will allow anyone in the world to construct a free energy machine in their garage. It's not that expensive, and it works, and we can prove it. Just wait for the next installment of the article.

Not surprisingly, part three was never published, and never mentioned again, by anyone ... Typical. Anyone else think this is just utterly ridiculous? Anyone who heard that episode, which had to of been thousands of people should never take a word that comes out of this man's mouth seriously again ...

I completely agree with the importance of efforts to glean the gem or two out of the morass of the rest. You will find many of us - open minded yet firmly footed in reason. That said, I am sure that when observed, I am sometimes loony, sometimes whacky, and perhaps occasionally level-headed.
