Haven't seen a quake in that area before but I haven't been watching for long. seems a little out of place to me but meh. strongest one on usgs right now.

depth of 6.3 kilometers. anyone know where to find the depth of the ocean floor in that area?

its right where the south american plate meets the African plate so i guess it's not that out of place.

+ if U think 176 pages is heavy,

PuterMan and also Muzzy are excellent sources of very technical info, if U are that way inclined...
