Hi All,

Just thought i'd spread the word about national tree in Australia. Although this is more relative to Australia in this case, i think it's worth thinking about wherever you are.

Tree's are something we have come to take for granted but if you think about it, if it werent for tree's and plantlife then we may not be here.

So give something back once in awhile and plant a tree or 2

Recent research commissioned by Planet Ark and sponsored by Toyota shows that Aussie kids are spending less and less time outside. National Tree Day is the perfect opportunity for you and your family to get outdoors, connect with nature and do something good for the environment. Find a Tree Day site near you and join the thousands of people across the country who agree that Life is Better with Trees!

I planted a mulberry tree last week and 2 spruce trees about a month ago.
Also planted a rose bush and another bush (I don't remember the name)

I love gardening

I volunteer a couple times through the year and go up to the local mountains and plant seedling and help keep the area's clean etc.

I think it's satisying to give back to the enviroment as much as i can. Although it doesnt make up for the pollution, it's better than doing nothing at all

Trees can take whatever you throw at them.
Sometimes I think they are great examples of how to overcome adversity.
For example...

That is true, thay are quite resilient... the only thing they cant recover from is being cut down

Awesome pic as well, amazing that the tree has grown around the bike
