Miami Water Spout...Great Footage

Pretty cool when the water spout hit that ship and instantly dissipated.

I saw a dirt devil (same as a water spout but on land) in colorado hundreds of feet high.

anyone else seen a good one?

though i don't know if disipate when it hit the ship is quite correct. if you watch after it leaves the water it is not visible except for random loose objects flying around the same circular pattern. if there had been a lot of dust it would have become a dust devil.

years ago we spotted a good sized dust devil in the huge area across the street from the shop that was being prepared for construction, i wish we had a video camera to film it. it was awesome. the wind was strong enough that day that our tire racks loaded with tires blew over (what a pain to up rite them ).

That was crazy, in the end it looks as if the two boats on the right were pulled in then out.
Mother nature has the ability to create the most astonishing events.

Cool footage. There was a storm that hit the area I was living in a few years ago (Mt Maunganui, New Zealand). It had intense hail, and a number of water spouts were spotted off the coast. Heres a video and a link.
