Pakistani authorities are reporting to say at least four people in the past 48 hours have been arrested on suspicion of being part of Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda network. A Pakistani information minister refused to disclose the nationalities of those arrested or where they are detained. Also Correspondents are saying it's not clear how senior the suspects are, or whether they are Pakistanis or foreigners.

"Our forces raided some places in the past two days and captured five terrorists, including foreigners, who are valuable targets," an unnamed official told the AFP news agency.

Pakistan's Information Minister, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, however, would only confirm the arrests, when contacted by the BBC Urdu service, refusing to give details.

Pakistan has detained more than 20 people in the last month, including key foreign and local terrorist suspects.

Look like due to the recent alert in America Pakistan have been arresting more and more people could this be due to getting key information from the US government or could they have just got lucky on this one. And after a few hours will they just let them go and say they are not part of Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda network.

Jeez, is anyone not in AL Qaeda getting arrested these days? You would think they were the only terrorist organization out there. Remember how we didn't give a damn about Al Qaeda until september 11th? Maybe right this very instant we are so damned focused on Al Qaeda that we can't see some other darkhorse terrorist organization that is going to come out of nowhere and kill thousands of people again. Or maybe they've just decided to start calling everyone Al Qaeda now-a-days. It makes it more dramatic thinking there's one super-enemy waiting to strike from the shadows at anytime anywhere in the globe with countless members. It also makes people feel better about the intelligence community if they forget about anyone except Al Qaeda and it seems like they just keep arresting more and more members from the same organization. Just a thought.

Have you wondered what these Arab words translated mean in English? I did. They mean "The Base." Don't you think these words are the bases for all world terror organiztions.
