How do they play together.

If the gunwalker scandal had not come to light, The selling of guns to anyone that wanted them would be in full swing when the video came out. With a list of gun stores under standing orders to sell weapons to questionable people. The AQ people walking into the store with money would be met with all the guns they could carry, no questions ask.

They would be actively arming drug lords and terrorist.

It is almost like the people in control were wanting to unleash as much chaos as they could.
