Naki'o the first bionic dog

And now for some happier news.

I just found this video and wanted to share it with you all.

The first dog with 4 prosthetic legs and he seems perfectly happy with it.

Naki'o had very severe frostbite after putting his paws in a frozen puddle as an abandoned puppy. Malnourished and weak he probably did not move from that spot for some time. As a result the tissue of the paws became 'dead' and he could not use them. This dead tissue was removed by a vet once Naki'o was rescued. Once Christie adopted him she saw walking on his legs without the formed paws was growing more painful and difficult for him, and contacted Orthopets.

Aww poor puppy...

Sad story, good that he can now get around!

Lol, he's called Naki'o, changed the thread title.

After reading so much doom and gloom threads already this morning it's nice to see something uplifting!

Man’s best friend, dogs never cease to amaze me.

Throughout history man and dog seem to go throw the trials of life together.

These animals hold a special place in my heart for all the thousands of years “they have stuck it out” with us.
