Deleting Threads and Rants?

You know what I'm talking about, and it sickens me. Those who have witnessed what just happened in the past few minutes saw mods pull not only a breaking news thread, but a rant following it asking why they pulled it. This greatly damages the integrity of the site imo, it's really a pity the type of picking and choosing that's beginning to unravel, with absolutely no ground to give for worthy news.

I think we made somebody mad ?

I saw it.....But I'm afraid to comment.

It was moved to the Complaints forum were all complaints are viewed by the whole staff as it was a complaint.
