after ten years of stagnation since transition to a free market economy, it does appear that the russian economy is starting to pull itself back up. But it is hard to say since a lot of the supposed economic "growth" is just oil sales .

the russians are an intelligent and cultured people with a land that is full of riches. It is only a matter of time before they become a prosperous and materialisticly wealthy nation which they rightly deserve.
