Mother nature holds its wrath for NO ONE..

I'm glad to say there are no reported deaths.

I wonder if they were doing a field assignment close together,
maybe they were marching.

Somehow they were close enough to each other for a strike to hit them all..

Let this be a warning if you hear thunder, there is lightening.

People die every year from getting hit directly and indirectly by a strike..

I remember reading a story about 10-20 cows in a field next to a metal fence that was hit by lightening and they all died, fried burgers..

The poor soldiers can't catch a break.

I'll post more information as it comes to hand.

The information I get from that report though is that there were really only 4 soldiers that were actually harmed in any way shape or form ("responsive and in stable condition) but that as a precaution all the rest of the people in the area were sent for "evaluation". Which I think is the standard safety procedure for checking heart rhythm after any kind of electrical shock exposure. You've probably got 73 soldiers sitting in the hospital waiting room thinking "what the hell am I wasting my time sitting here for".

A very unlucky base yes.

It must of hit the ground near by where they were working and didn't hit anyone directly...

I sure hope so. Good thing they were not working
on a metal structure..

You think the military would have a protocol in place
that if there is lightning in the area to cease all work..

I'll bet the boys at HAARP bounced a burst of whoop ass off a chem trail cloud so they could turn them into a new breed of super soldier.
