Dominique Strauss-Kahn is entitled to an annual pension of at least $300,000 under his contract with the International Monetary Fund, documents show.
Strauss-Kahn resigned on Wednesday from his job as managing director of the IMF, a day ahead of his indictment on rape and other charges.
He is due to leave prison on Rikers Island Friday morning on $1 million bail and $5 million surety, along with stringent security conditions.
