I've heard crows make worse noises then that, live in the suburbs you hear everything!

I live in the suburbs and my favorite wild critter sounds are the coyotes. They are awesome!

When my family was visiting last year, they asked me what was that sound that sounded like a duck dying!
It was a raven. We have MANY of them here. They are HUGE and make very strange sounds.

They also do a "knocking" sound that sounds like a horse galloping.
