This article is a good read, for the BBC! Not, of course for it news content, but as something to think about. Too much of what is being said does not make sence. For example if Pakistan is condeming the action, why would they become a target for retaliation? Any way, this is the scary bit.... A resolution has been passed to attempt to stop the US from it ongiong drone strikes inside Pakistan. it contains the text:

"The people of Pakistan will no longer tolerate such actions and repeat of unilateral measures could have dire consequences for peace and security in the region and the world," the AFP news agency quoted the resolution as saying.

Don't forget, this is a country with nuclear capabilities.

It's to amount to one extreme or another-leave the country alone or level the place. Why infuriate them further, unless you have an ultimate goal? Or is the goal to have them retaliate. Seems like they are trying hard for Pakistans retaliation. Is something not shared with us, about the Pakistan's involvement with terrorism...

And what's that quote? "and so it begins"...

Interesting angle. But I think the terrorism is all part of the same game. Think of it like this.... If they do go into Pakistan, they're already in Afganistan and Iraq. There have already been rumours of threats on Iran. That only leaves Syria and they controll a block of land from China to the Mediterranian Sea.

Just speculation I admit, but I wouldn't put it past them.

Pakistan Taliban say double suicide bombing revenge for Osama bin Laden

THE death toll from a double suicide bombing on a paramilitary police training centre in northwest Pakistan has risen to 89.

Pakistan's Taliban said the attack in the town of Shabqadar - which also wounded around 140 people, 40 of them critically - was to avenge the death of Osama bin Laden at the hands of US forces.

"We have done this to avenge the Abbottabad incident,'' Ahsanullah Ahsan, a spokesman for the Pakistani Taliban, told The Associated Press in a phone call. He warned that the group was also planning attacks on Americans living inside Pakistan.

As someone mentioned elsewhere, it is likely the Taliban's assault was to put Pakistan on notice and instill some fear into them not to side with or otherwise cooperate with the USA over the Bin Laden killing.

It seems at this stage, it is working as Pakistan are now calling the US to quit drone bombings and no further unannounced raids....

Pakistan lawmakers pledged there must be no repeat of the US commando raid that killed bin Laden and said drone strikes targeting terrorists near the border with Afghanistan must end....
