Pay attention, airlines. Here is a way to recap some of those losses. Imagine having a Boeing 727 as a home. The plane set "-------------" back $2,000.00, cost $4,000.00 to move, and $24,000.00 to renovate. That's not bad for a $30,000.00 investment. The stairs open with a garage door remote, and one of the bathrooms is still intact. And let's not forget the personal Jacuzzi in the cockpit. Sweet . . . The Boeing home is featured as part of a collection of creative conversions.
I want it . . . and the view! Anyone with an old 727 they don't want?

This seems like a great idea if you live in the right place, I mean with all the crazy zoning laws & HoA's nowadays who knows if you can do it, but still.

I love odd houses and spaces to live in. I thought boats and train cars looked like an interesting home. Not a bad idea, and of course as mentioned if you can get over the zoning laws and further obtain a retired plane, might be a fun option. Looks cozy but the wood paneling and porch make it seem bigger.

The only I would have done differently is kept one wing...and built a swimming pool beneath it!
