Pakistan's prime minister warned the United States Monday that his country could respond to any future U.S. raids on its soil with "full force," in the latest escalation of rhetoric in the wake of Usama bin Laden's death.

Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, like other officials in Islamabad, said the killing of bin Laden in northern Pakistan was a positive step. But, reflecting concerns that the unilateral strike violated his country's sovereignty, Gilani sent a clear message to the United States. He warned any "overt or covert" attack would be met with a "matching response" in the future.

"Pakistan reserves the right to retaliate with full force. No one should underestimate the resolve and capability of our nation and armed forces to defend our sacred homeland," Gilani said.

It appears Pakistan needs to pound their chest a little, possibly in hopes to avoid any embarrassment in the international community and also to save face with it's own citizens.

I, personally, believe that all U.S. aid should be cut off to Pakistan and we send them a clear message of our own. Basically, that if we find out they were harboring OBL, we too will respond "full force". IMO the writing is on the wall and this scenario will probably play out anyhow.

basically what I just read was probably just said by some fox news dude correct?

"if we find out they were harboring OBL"
we'll what, bomb pakistan? how freakin coincidental hey? seems like that would be a good plan, hey?
or maybe that was the plan all along no doubt.

"aid should be cut off to Pakistan and we send them a clear message of our own. "
funny how not too long ago they were our ally in the war on terror. suddenly one change in perception and the whole thing has gone awry.

what message would you like to send them? I mean, we just used them and now we're going to ditch them, possbily for a new war that we definitely shouldn't try.
