Sorry if this has been asked already, but I couldn't find an answer.

Why am I not getting the Message Notification pop-up whenever I get a new msg?

It was made a little less obtrusive.

Messages now show in the ribbon at the base of the page and it gets highlighted when you have a new message.

Hope that helps
