The only shred of "credibility" Scheuer has is former CIA. (if that even gives him any) He CLEARLY shows his partisan agenda. It is worth remembering Bin Laden plotted the orchestration of 911 ON HIS WATCH (he served as the Chief of the Bin Laden Issue Station from 1996 to 1999) How does that give him the right to point fingers at others where American diplomacy, security and defense are concerned?

Is Osama bin Laden a crazy-eyed, homicidal fanatic or a man of intellect, compassion and piety? Scheuer believes he’s the latter.

He doesn’t arrive at this conclusion without his critics, many of whom say he has an incentive to build up an endlessly illusive and omnipotent adversary, who’s continued to defy American intelligence—and specifically Scheuer, for much of his career.

IMO, Scheuer is the poster boy for fear mongering to sell his books and elevate his importance.

Regardless of his previous comments, he brought up very good points in the video from the OP. I think the man is right, in a month or two the POTUS will announce that ground troops will be deployed.

NATO is simply acting as the fall guy for this who bullsh#t operation in Libya; the United States is still going to be the driving force in the NATO operations, its soldiers will be sacrificed, and its money spent. The U.N. Res. 1973 wasn't enough for the war pigs - the POTUS specifically has said that he wants Gadaffi out - so NATO was called.

When the hell do we get to voice our input?
