Is there anything on earth or in our universe that is not based on cycles? I was trying to think of something, anything that was not ,and could not come up with anything. Perhaps the universe constantly recycles itself-based on a very long time frame of course.Life Death, tides, The 4 seasons, the zodiac, earths rotation, even the beating of your heart. All the talk about different dinmensions, could it just be a recycling of our current one?

Most thing do seem to move on cycles..
There are a few things I can think of that dont really return to the source.
Electricity
Light

Yes things move in cycles,

One generation passed away, and another generation come.

The sun arised, and the sun goes down.

The wind goes toward the south, and turned about unto the north.

All the rivers run into the sea. from where the rivers come, they return again.

The sun and the moon appear to circle the earth as it turns upon its axes.

The earth goes around and around in its orbit.

The other planets in the universe also move in circles.

The sun has its own cycle, the cycle of sun spots.

There is a 22 year cycle, composed of two 11 year cycles, each with different polarity.

There is a continuance cycle of days and nights. The seasons of the earth move in endless cycles. Over and over a-gain we have spring, summer, fall, and winter. The pendulum of a clock swings as far as it can go then swings back to the starting point. This is caused by the motion of the earth.

There are also historical cycles. We are all familiar with the saying, "History repeats itself."
