Libyans are expendables on oil-rich battlefield

rt.com

Political analysts say that protecting civilians in Libya is actually the allied coalition’s secondary priority. The primary one is eliminating the country’s defenses and gaining control over Libya’s oil-rich regions through civil war between tribes.
The death toll is said to have reached 67, according to Libyan health officials.

Before I begin to state my personal opinion, I'd like to state that this is an article posted on Russia Today. It is important to understand the journalistic bias.

I strongly agree with many of the view points presented in this article. It is interesting to see, America's reluctance to join conflicts such as Rawanda ever since their failure to spread democracy after the Soviet Collapse. Now, though it seems as if they are riding a wave of imaginary "hope" and "change". But(and this is the million dollar question) are they "hoping" to bring democracy to Libya and "change their lives" or are they "hoping" to secure oil reserves and "change" economic activities in Libya? Countries rarely ever enter wars in the aim to protect and save civillian life. Countries enter wars to secure national interests. Wether you choose to believe it or not, this has been the case in WWI, WWII, Vietnam and even Yugoslavia. So why is the West and Nato bombing Libya?

Killing civilians goes against the mandate of United Nations Security Council resolution 1973 – to protect civilians – he added. And while there is no doubt the allied forces will be successful in establishing a no-flight zone, Miles concluded, the question is how they will use their supremacy.

Keep in mind, The U.S is happy for your country to be a democracy and they are also happy for your country to be a dictatorship. They are happy for you, as long as your interests align with their interests.

The Arab League is a “collection of dictators, kings and presidents, all of them puppets of the US, but they are backing down because of the unbelievable hatred and outrage on the part of their own people for the fact that they went along with aggression against yet another Muslim Arab country,” argued Lew Rockwell, chairman of the Research and Educational Center at the US-based Ludwig von Mises Institute.

Israel has seen an increase in rocket attacks, I wonder if things will spiral out of control in that area of the Middle-East, Iran and Syria might come into play, this whole thing is a house of cards, with the worlds powers blowing whatever way.

Oil is the world reserve currency. And yes all people are expendable as long as the rich and powerful get their control.

They don't need 6 billion of us working for them. A few hundred would be ideal. Killing off 95% of the world population never looked better.

Might wanna take a look at those Georgia Guidestones again.

The objective is OIL.

It is all so obvious, if Somalia has OIL, you will see Somalia occupies by now.

I keep seeing this accusation carted out every time the US becomes involved in some action in the Middle East. People say it's the reason we invaded Iraq, the reason we're in Libya, etc. If this were true, why am I still paying so much for gas? The price for oil has gone UP, not DOWN since the operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. How can people keep saying that we invaded the countries for oil and not have people just laughing at them for saying this?

It's all about control. There are massive oil reserves in Alaska and the Rocky Mountains which the global elite keep off limits.

THEY WANT YOU TO PAY BIG MONEY. Even if there is enough oil for 1000 years to come. They have to make sure they control the supply. Once they control that, THEY set the price.

And we pay for it, whatever they tell us to pay.

Now they are counting the death toll. 67 Kaddafi supporters killed in UN action vs no mention of the untold thousands of Libyans Kaddafi's forces have killed since Feb 17. He killed more than 67 just the other day in Misrata and Jazza.

The real headline of this story is......

No, it refers to people with agendas who are really bad at math.

When the US started bombing Serbia in 1999 the White House and media said 400,000 Kosovars had died.

A 2002 study by UNICEF showed that roughly 2,500 had been killed.

Milosevic is charged with a total of approximately 10,000 killings and 250,000 deportations in Bosnia.

In 1995 a massive NATO bombing
campaign and the advancement of Muslim and Croat troops led ultimately to a peace accord. By this time, however,
over 200,000 Muslim civilians had been systematically murdered, more than 20,000 people were missing, and two
million people had become refugees.

You are guilty of the exact same thing, only using numbers of deaths from Allied intervention.

And yet you still fail to acknowledge the 200,000 death count. 10,000 is only what Milosevich was charged with being directly responsible for. It's like pulling teeth.
