I think I'd rather die in the immediate blast of the bomb.

I would assume it'd be a quicker death, but it'd suck to just get cooked and radiated to death.
There are probably still quite a few people buried and alive in that stuff right now, just waiting to die... and that really sucks.

Thanks for this post. There was a story on MSNBC this morning addressing the similarity of the devestation. They interviewed an elderly Japanese gentleman who witnessed his family slowly die after the bombing. He said he had hoped that his generation would be the last to see nuclear destruction. Too bad, too late.

Question....why did you spell tsunami "psunami"? Do you think it was created by man? HAARP? Just asking?

One hundred thousand "Nom Myoho Renge Kyos", for Japan....

They are eeriley similar. If I didn't know better......... Problem is that when this is all said and done the aftermath will be exactley the same. Complete devestation coupled with the longterm effects of radiation poisoning.

I have to wonder why has one people suffered this level sorrow not once but twice in living memory.
