RARE EARTHQUAKE..3.5 Dauphin Island, Alabama

Yeah here in Alabama an earthquake of any magnitude is a little on the strange side if a 3.5 hit N.Y,LA or some other big city everybody would be freaking out.

Exactly. It's very unusual....rather unheard of, and definitely freaky. As I recall -- a hurricane took the Dauphin Island Bridge down, once, which was unfortunate, but not at all strange. I haven't been there in years, but hearing about an earthquate there, no matter how insignificant, is still very weird. Jimmy Buffett would have been out in the Gulf trying to find a tsunami to surf. lol.

I from the coast myself, not Alabama but it was on our news, I'm about 40 miles from the Biloxi beach areas. I did not feel anything, I find this very strange though, Earthquake is one of the few things I have never experienced.
Kind of disturbing. Hmmm...
