Are beliefs different than truth?

I say there is something as primordial truth, which can only be found through a certain set of excercises. So there is relative, absolute and ultimate truth but those are all surpassed by this primordial truth, which ofcourse promises a bliss which surpasses whatever bliss is gained from your ultimate truth.

Just taking a jest, but still I wonder sometimes if human beings just need something to believe in that much so that they are convinced in a way the mind makes their happiness real in a sense (and according to buddhists in a permanent way).

Could truth be unknown yet active?

Example: people usually live a life of coping by occupying time with addictions and routines until they die and they don't know why.

Some things are true, whether you believe in them or not. Some things are true, only because you believe in them.
