I wonder what the Israeli peoples response would be to all of this. Although Egypt and Israel both have a mutual bloackade against Gaza and Palestinians... I wonder, behind the scenes, what Israeli PMs relationship is with Mubarak?

LEt's just see how this unfolds.

Well it wouldn't make much sense for him to go to Saudi Arabia. Apparently the Saudi Arabian king is in Morocco and the Moroccan king called out his military and left for France. Musical leaders, anyone?

He won't go to Israel. The incoming ruling bunch - The Muslim Brotherhood - has already called for war with Israel. Mubarak won't go to a country that is just going to be in a massive war in a few months. He'll bug out to S. America or France or something like that. Israel = no. IMHO

Thanks for that... very interesting indeed!

The heir apparent, Gamal Mubarak is suspected of having fled the country and to be "hiding out" in London.

Perhaps his father will be joining up with him soon enough, then again, with all the gold they smuggled out and the millions they have transferred to Swiss bank accounts, they could go anywhere.
