Spam text kills a suicide bomber, saves hundreds

technolog.msnbc.msn.com

A spam message wishing a Russian woman happy new year may very well have killed her, and saved hundreds of intended targets, according to an account by The Telegraph's Moscow correspondent, Andrew Osborn.

At first I thought this was a type of Onion news headline - but upon further review I found I was mistaken.

Unfortunately Now I have to change my belief that all spam is evil.

The Russian security forces stated the following from the article:
"phones are usually kept off until the last minute for detonation, but in this case, "the terrorists were careless."

Today, SPAM has won the day!

In Soviet Russia, SPAM deletes you!

This is hilarious, but doesn't the article make it sound like she was preparing for Monday's attack at the airport?

Is this supposed to be an inditement on Russian security because it is.
The terrorists got away and people were killed.
Nonsense news from the Illuminati who are probably behind the bombings.

Perhaps - just perhaps... sometimes - these Illuminati who you speak of just might want to make us laugh.

I don't really follow along the lines that this is an Illuminati plot, sorry.

Yeah, I had to google what a spam fritter was....

Spam Fritters: A spam fritter is a slice of Spam fried in batter. Commonly eaten with chips and mushy peas, spam fritters are served in fish and chip shops in England.

I've been giving this some thought over the last few hours. If you take a look at history you will find that intelligence agencies typically know when something big is about to go down, and typically whether it happens or not is dependent on how it suits the national interest.

That is why I have come to the conclusion that I would not be shocked if the Russian FSB was the one who detonated the bomb. If they were watching these people, all they would have to do is run a trace or ping of the phone this woman had and send a text message. It really would be that simple.

This theory is substantiated a bit by the fact that the two others were seen fleeing the house. Who saw them fleeing? The article doesn't mention it. Also, if it was some random witness, how did that person know they were accomplices, as the article claims?

Don't get me wrong, I have no issue whatsoever with the FSB doing this if they did indeed do it. They saved hundreds of lives by simply sending a text message and I would applaud them for that. I would call that the most epic and hilarious counter-terrorism operation ever conducted.

Well I think the Illuminati are leaving Egypt right now if we desire to see any come out
of the wood work and probably will not come back due to Illuminati wan'a bees running
in the streets or waiting to take power.

Airline safety revolves around a group of Illuminati perhaps that brought on the hijack
problem that initiated the rounds of terror.

I believe that the 'Illuminati' exist in symbolism - such as TPTB are the Illuminati. The banks, the health care industry, the mega corps and governments that let these PTB do what ever they want... those are the Illuminati.

I do not believe they exist in a physical context - such as an actual organization. Either way - even if they do, what is going on in the world at this moment in history directly effects 'them'.
