Radio reports every hour on the hour detailing cars being stopped as they leave the local Indian Reserve. Police are searching for native cigarettes and confiscating any found along with confiscating the car. Apparently in the name of "tax evasion". What's next?

They're being searched off a reserve as that's where most, if not all, the illegal products is coming from. I don't see the problem here.

If anything, the only thing that may come of this is a native backlash of some kind, hopefully not a violent one.

whats next? this is a step in the right direction, in my opinion. if you look at how many illegal smoke shops there are on reserves, especially six nations, its crazy. the illegal smoke shops, among other things, are directly linked to organized crime. by the way the cigs are gross from what i hear anyways, lots of dirt and the odd fingernail.
