Ray was not planning to revisit the OpenBSD issue. Then he came across a New York Times article
www.nytimes.com...
Sunday which describes the Stuxnet worm attacks as a joint US-Israeli cyber-operation to cripple Iran's nuclear enrichment program. One of the US participants, according to the Times article, is the Idaho National Laboratory (INL), which Ray notes is the current employer listed for Wright.

"So we know Jason Wright was hacking on OpenBSD IPsec crypto code at the time the backdoor was alleged to have been added, and that he was pentesting Siemens SCADA systems at the time Stuxnet was being constructed and at the very same national nuclear research lab identified by the New York Times," Ray concluded in his blog post. "This guy sure seems to have a talent for coincidences."

Hmmm, wikileaks got nothin on this ball of sh^&t.
Its looking to this layman that the allegations if not totally the whole story, are true to the extent they go.....
Methinks that it would be a dandy thread if all these entrusions into the private lives of supposedly "free" personswere listed.
Stuff like this, the patriot act, and operation Echelon which still goes on recording and analyzing every long distance phone call that gets made world wide.....fusion centers, TSA sickos,....Florida logger harrassed by feds over toxic waste dumping by the state which he documented....the list is getting wieghty indeed.....
I just know there is far more to list, and piecemeal, they fail to grab the average attention.
The totality of the tresspass into our lives and minds would have to be a very great shock to most people.
This is bound to run deeper yet....

Department of Homeland Security presentation:
graphics8.nytimes.com...

By early 2008, the Department of Homeland Security had teamed up with the Idaho National Laboratory
to study a widely used Siemens controller known as P.C.S.-7, for Process Control System 7.

And guess, at Idaho we find Jason Wright
sector.ca...

Jason Wright is a cyber security researcher at the Idaho National Laboratory working with SCADA and
Process Control system vendors to secure critical infrastructure assets.
He is also a semi-retired OpenBSD developer (also known as a "slacker") responsible for many device
drivers and layer 2 pieces of kernel code.
