Now this is interesting. Did anyone heard about this here on ATS?

A similar happened few years ago in my country with one bank and that time the bank is collapsed completely because they never had enough money to give it back to the owners, but they were in some banking investments.

If people are embracing it, there we can say good bye to the federal banking system... which maybe wouldn't be bad at all.

This is still alive eh? Yes, we were speaking about the European bank run protest awhile back, but it was unclear if was going to get any popular support.

If it takes place and has some manner of effect on behavior, it could be a blue print for non-violent revolutionary actions in other systems.

The economy is our big gun as the citizens. WE control the destiny of a nation ultimately. Officials can swing their huevos around all they want, the "little" guys have to cooperate for anything to get done.

I'd be curious to see what would happen in an even broader protest. Imagine if all the nations of the Western World opted out of Christmas gifts. That sting would have a wide range of people taking notice.

If we don't go to work or buy things or fly or use major banks, we can begin to learn how to use the one power that can never be taken from us. Our free will to take judgement upon anything we see fit to judge!

Don't like nude scans and fat guys playing with your 4 year old daughter? Don't fly!
Don't like abusive banking policies? Close your account at BofA and go to your local bank.

We CAN force the system to adapt to us, it doesn't even exist without our permission. We just have to decide that we are going to get our way, the way of citizens majority, as intended, regardless of the costs. If we are resisted we must be willing to REMOVE the obstacles.

We make policy adapt to us, not the other way around.

Banks never hold all the money deposited, this is how they pay interest it is loaned out and invested. Why would anyone suggest pulling all the money out, it would cause harm and no good.

Causing harm IS the good. You threaten the systems that are a problem to gain influence. We obviously can't just ask the governments to stop, we already have and they just feed us the party lines. We tell the banks they are out of line, they essentially ignore us. We say CEO's are paid too much, they get "golden parachutes" and go on to a new company and back to the way things were.

It's a display of unity, if it happens. It makes clear that the people still have the ability to act as a power unto themselves, in case the exploiters don't think we do.

If we don't have that ability anymore, then we will lose and they will reign over us as THEY see fit.

Honestly, at least in America, I am doubting that we have the strength fr cohesive action as a population anymore. I hope we do though and an action such as this run might teach others that they can have a voice if they cooperate with each other. We seem to have forgotten this.

Right now the banks are controlling the people, manipulating their contracts one sided, all their expenses are paid by the customer itself. As people has enough about it, there is another way to talk with the banks. It seems this is it.

People definitely know the banks don't have all their money and actually this is the problem. You take your money into the bank usually to keep it safe and to do not jeopardize it. And what the banks are doing instead of keeping your money safe? Jeopardizing with it, taking it into risky investments and when that investment fails, only you, the customer pays for it while the CEOs are bailing out with huge bonuses which is also paid from your money.

So causing some harm to them is actually good, because right now the banks are believing your money is theirs and they can do anything with it, while you never gave any authorization to it at all.
