President Obama said today he sympathizes with passenger complaints about aggressive body pat-downs at airports, but his counter-terrorism aides say they are necessary to guard against hidden explosives.

Balancing privacy and security is a "tough situation," Obama told reporters at a news conference following the NATO summit in Lisbon, Portugal.

"One of the most frustrating aspects of this fight against terrorism is that it has created a whole security apparatus around us that causes a huge inconvenience for all of us," Obama said.

Obama the globalist elite puppet thinks pat downs are necessary, but the American people who know the Constitution and Bill of Rights inside-out know that it is reminiscent of the fascist police state of Nazi Germany.

Why doesn't Obama lead by example and submit to the pat-downs he is advocating under the false name of national security, from all those patsy terrorists the globalist elite created in order to scare the masses to accept their fascist police state?

This is the biggest absurdity yet to come from the globalist puppet.

pshh.. like he cares, like he ever has to deal with it, he isn't the one being "abused" It's like someone else mentioned, let his wife get patted down like everyone else, or go through those naked body scanners and have her images saved in the database. [how long before the perverts would upload/sell those?]

Or takes naked pics of his wife and kids..

Frustrating? Frustrating? No. Frustrating is having to wait a long time in the security line.

Having your private parts touched by a total stranger is not frustrating - it's undignified.

I'm glad to hear that he's okay with Michelle, Malia, and Sasha getting either porn'd, or groped.

Really. I'm sure he's okay with this. After all, he thinks we should be.

We have to assess the risks of the two alternatives.

If the patdowns and screenings were to discontinue, the odds of a regular traveler being harmed in a terrorist attack on a plane are still astronomically small.

If the patdowns and screenings are to continue, the odds of a regular traveler NOT having their "junk" groped or oggled by a pervert are astronomically small.

Had to give you a star. Well said.

I refused the all body scanner in Oakland and they got really excited "oh well you're getting a full pat down, then!", loudly, exclaiming across the security perimeter, *we have a refusal to scan, full pat down needed* (that's not an exact quote but was the basic premise). They kinda freaked out. Then a TSA guy gave me a really close, tight, full pat down. I'm glad the dude had to grab my junk, I just smiled and said, "there's no way I'm going in that machine" (that is a direct quote)...

The TSA's new security procedures touch a nerve

America is in the middle of a vigorous privacy debate. The Transportation Security Administration's full-body scanners and new "enhanced pat-down" procedures have (ahem) touched a nerve. The new scanners, which have been introduced in more and more airports over the last few months, provide a full, head-to-toe picture of a passenger. Depending on the technology, the image is either pretty grainy and abstract or damn near NSFW. You can opt out of the full-body scan, but that means enduring an "enhanced pat-down" with a TSA agent. In the new pat-down, introduced on November 1, agents use the front of their hands and "women’s breasts and all passengers’ genital areas are patted firmly." Sounds awkward to say the least.

"Having your private parts touched by a total stranger is not frustrating - it's undignified."

Actually, it is more than undignified - it is invasion of privacy and sexual molestation, which is a serious criminal offense. A perverted Government which gets its rocks off on sexually molesting innocent people and your President is in full support of this despicable criminal behavior. What next?

Next comes, trains, buses, Gov Buildings, then eventually everywhere you go...

I think Airport security is necessary too - and I also think those scan machines are no good, therefore I would submit to a pat down, which I guess makes me an elite, with very little money...

Your equating this with Nazi Germany does not make sense for me -

These pat downs are not unprovoked are given ONLY when an individual is going to use general air transportation, the world has a substantial history of violence posed against commercial airplanes.

You know what I think? I think that in his heart he knows this is absurd, but he's surrounded by aids, counselors, long-time politicians, and shadowy figures. And they put pressure on him and say, "Mr. President, trust us, it has to be this way." And so he does. But I bet in his heart he knows this is wrong.

I'm no fan of Obama (not a hater either) but I just can't help but think he's caving to internal pressure.

You really think so? How many people do you think have died from the result of terrorist attacks onboard a plane?
BTW, even with todays standards of security at airports I doubt that would have stopped 9/11 as they only used box cutters which have tiny blades..They could be made from ceramics and still easily concealed from the current detection methods..

No, I think he is caving to what will happen when someone blows up a plane to advance a political point
or by our own government to further implant Nazi process

So if it's really o.k., how about we let the tsa sexually assault his daughters, in front of him, and then let's see how he feels...............it's good enough for the populace, it should be o.k. for him and his brood. As an aside, I feel sorry for anyone who would have to pat down Pelsoi.............

Between 1968 and 1978 there were 400 + commercial highjacking' - this number has declined dramatically
as security has improved

The act is often used to create conflict by governments to create public outrage and fund various MIC projects around the world. You remove security and some party in this nation will take advantage, it seems to me like someone is trying to co-opt the outrage - frankly it is more outrageous that this practice is near a year old
and it takes media herding, which smells fishy

www.abovetopsecret.com...

For all you know "they" might use this outrage as an excuse to really get Nazi

An example of benefit from public reaction and low and behold the catalyst for todays outrage

The Israelis have much better airport security - they use questioning and profiling.

When you intend to travel, they ask you your reasons for traveling, and they continue to ask questions to ascertain the legitimacy of your travel so you do not use it as a cover for a terrorist operation. Sniffer dogs may be used.

They do not pat down or use body scanners - nothing like in the United States.
