The Aikido Revolution: Strength as a weakness

Aikido is performed by blending with the motion of the attacker and redirecting the force of the attack rather than opposing it head-on. This website is a clear example of how people from across the world are coming together and communicating in a way that the past would prohibit. Powerful men have had the ability to communicate discreetly for centuries longer than the commoner. However this has just changed. Many are typing messages back and forth with little concern of what borders they cross; And these messages are beginning to sound similar - from an American to a Russian, from a Indian to a Mexican, from a Canadian to an Italian, (and so forth)- They all seem to mutter through translation - "Your elite and powerful are corrupt? So are ours."

From this example, it may be easy to make an argument that we are already becoming a one world culture. As cultural diffusion is already heavy, and descent is rippling through many nations simultaneously. However, isn't it those powerful elite that are staking their claim and forcing a one world government. But why them?

Aikido teaches of a method of using an enemy's weight and strength against them. If the powers that be are interested in creating a dystopian future for the collective world, then it's about time the world decided how to create a future that works, and works for everyone.

Consider that the elite are in mid-swing. The people of the world ARE ABLE to actually grab 'this' fist, and pull it 'toward them' instead pushing directly against it. They CAN declare - "If we are to have a one world government, than it is to be on OUR terms."

But first, the world needs a belief system. Or rather - a voting system that is nearly impenetrable. None of the decisions that the world creates will be believable if the process of voting is flawed; as current computers offer an equal balance of problem/solution. Existing voting machines have back-doors and other significant problems that devalue any credibility of it's counting. But why?

Voting machine manufacturers and developers have a surprisingly lax security guideline. The open source world could very easily create an open source voting machine. Every nation (of people) of the world could work together and create a system that functions securely. Each machine could be independent but with a heartbeat to a peer to peer monitoring network that documents each number to all countries. Therefore, each nation could observe and watch the integrity of the other nations elections. A buddy system of sorts. Forcing each government body to conduct fair elections for their own people first, then after time, negotiations towards a more reasonable foreign/international policy could result.

Of course, this concept is new to everyone. But from my perspective, it may be the only way out of this horrible future. Of course, it will be buggy and messed up in it's infancy (With a degree of corruption still looming). But I'd rather have nations argue over lines of code than play chess with shadowy black-op mercenaries, bio-weapons or missiles. In this concept, the freedom of the world rests in that the code will be visible for everyone to see and study.

It all starts there. See that fist? It's still coming. What to do? What to do?

Really like the philosophy behind your ideas here but the only thing I can think of to add is a video of a young Steven Seagal crushing wave after wave of trainees

Seagal did not create anything but his own acting career. He studied Aikido and did not even think about starting it as it was formed in the 1920s.

I totally agree with the open source coding for voting software. Democratic principles could be honestly applied and at least the people would have a say in their own affairs. Since E-voting came in we lost any control over the process. That still fails to address the problems of political parties. Man, they have us down so many ways

Still, I like the concept of Aikido being applied to politics and redressing the socio-economic disorder that's running amok. How it will be practically applied will be an interesting development in thinking. Is it even practical? Some questions just swallow me with their size and this is one of them.
