Is There A Way To Change My Name?

Hi guys.
I don't know what the hell I was thinking when my mind thought of "Cricious" to be my name... Is there a way to change it? I am willing to pay a small fee if it is necessary. Just... Help me get rid of this name without having to make a new account. I will highly appreciate it.

There is no way to change your name. About all you can do is create a new account and let this one lapse.

Yeah, actually, I go to a visit where they charge 10$ per name change. I changed my name there twice. I wouldn't mind paying for that here .

It's already been answered, but I felt it needed to be flagged to get other members attention, especially the newer members who might not of been aware etc.

Hiya C, with 29 posts in a year, I'd just write it off if you don't like it and start afresh with a new profile.

There's nothing wrong with the name imo. Check out some of the weird and wonderful names around here and you'll see how normal it is!

I can understand why sites don't allow people to change their username; it creates confusion/misindefication!

What I cannot understand is why they don't let the user physically terminate an account so they can start a new/fresh account; I mean its good for site maintaince as well.

Why can't we fix our member names actually ?

It is probably not a difficult change. I mean it works with flags, stars, wats etc.

And...

ATS is always stating that it's all about content and even strives for members to remain anonymous.

There could even be an add to it. Like :

Ignorant zealot... Formerly known as Sinter Klaas.

Your name isn't an attention grabber, but it's also not a total fail either.
That would be like wanting your name to be "Super Girl" and accidentally making it "Stupid Girl"

Seriously though, I was really just fartin' around with names and was equally surprised and delighted that ATS had no stupid girl at that time.
So naturally, I jumped at the chance.
I think there should always be a stupid girl in any group just to keep things interesting and round out the bunch.
