Do you mean senses? I haven't watched the video yet but the title caught my attention because I thought you were talking about those spiritual things where they talk to the dead.

Horizon documentaries are usually pretty good and informative, I will give it a watch when I have a minute to spare and hopefully will have something actually useful to say about it

My first thought is that our senses are the barriers that prevent us from seeing the world as it it really is.

We see what we have been programmed to see. Our brain has become a gilded cage that prevents us from seeing beyond the glass of our fish bowl.

What would we be capable of if we could control our brain instead of our brain controlling us?
