Marriage itself is a convoluted concept with varying definitions depending upon the audience.

Religious sorts will rightly point out it is an institution created within some ancient civil/religious code.

Contemporaries will argue that it is an endorsement by a body politic for some basis of a family unit.

I myself don't really care who marries who. If someone can find some weirdo witchdoctor to "certify" the union, or if some couple (alien or terrestrial) is stupid enough to sign into a contract with the state and submit to licensing their union- fine.

I think in the issue you raise in the initial question has more to do with sex... and we grown ups understand that sex and marriage aren't necessarily the same thing. As such, I would think of the question more like.... "Do you think that Alien & Human sex acts would be a hot seller on the pay-per-porn sites?"

To which I would answer- absolutely!

Not really laughing at your spelling but "condome"?

That's funny right there, I don't care who you are.

I don't believe in mixed marriages (or relationships), period! Before you all start throwing stones, I'm not a hate monger, I just think races should stick to their own kind, and it's pointless to ask me why, as my reasons are personal.

so you think this supermodel /genius from outerspace would travel ten trillion light years on ship full of equally Gorgeous men and dump them all for you? Because you appreciate smart women? If there were any on Earth! and that would be because you of course are some kind of Inter Galactic love magnet?

Okay say aliens land, become citizens. People start having relationships with them. Would you support this?

I read a few reviews about the movie "Splice" and how upset people were at the negative reactions toward the "creature" and human sex scene. Which was odd to me, because most people reacted that was because it was kind of like a human with an animal.

Now with all the rumors of discloser, how far off would it be after we invite a few Et's to stay that people would develop a sexual preference towards them? How long until people are "born that way?"

Would you allow them to get married? Would you want your kids in school with aliens, and hybrids?

Absolutely I would support this. There are only a few reasons, and stupid ones at that, that marriage between gays (Or ALF in this case) are frowned upon: Religion.

"Well, it says in the Bible that a man should not lay with another man as one would a woman" blah blah, or some such stupid #. They take that # literally and base their whole hate mongering off of the Bible. Also, since they believe that GAAWWWD is perfect and doesn't make mistakes - therefore if you're born gay (Which people ARE) then that means God (Gaawwwd to evangelists) made a mistake - because if it says in his book that it's wrong, then obviously Gaaawwd wouldn't make people gay, because then it would invalidate his book - therefore if his book is invalid, and God did it, then that makes god fallible...but...THAT can't be because he's PERFECT...therefore...he's either NOT REAL or FALLIBLE!!!

Both of which drive religious people insane and shatters their reality - so they can't have gay people marrying because it's against God. And if they admit people are BORN that way, and that GOD made them that way, then the paradox rips their fragile minds apart.

Something else stupid about the Bible? They take the whole gay thing so literally that's it's actually accepted in this country to bash gays and deny them their rights...because of the Bible and literally taking that crap seriously. Because just a page or two over - on that same stupid Bible - it says that if you work on a Sunday you should be STONED TO DEATH. How many religious people work on Sundays but don't follow the letter of the law according to the Bible? NONE. ZERO. ZIP.

With religion it's totally okay to bash someone ELSE - if someone ELSE is affected and getting hurt by your ideas and beliefs, that's totally cool. But as soon as something in the Bible would affect THEM in a bad way (Getting stoned to death) then that part of the Bible suddenly becomes 'open to interpretation' - or 'not what God meant' - or 'insert random bull# rationalization here.' But when it says 'gays shouldn't be together' then THAT # needs to be taken 100000% seriously and not open to interpretation.

Not only that, but when aliens are here and they debunk major organized religions as BS, it's not going to matter what they think anymore - "Sorry, you're religion is Bull# - gays are born that way, and aliens exist - now let's get to the #in'!"

And it doesn't necessarily have to be aliens as according to any story/picture/video on Earth right now - just any advanced alien life form that comes here.

But...really...who is going to want to marry one of our backwards-ass people from the edge of the Milky Way?

Oh! Almost forgot...they don't want to ruin the 'sanctity of marriage.' Yeah...real Holy. With shows like "Who wants to marry a millionaire?" "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" - creating reality TV shows and making a joke out of marriage - real sanctimonious. Not to mention all the people getting divorced - even highly religious people - yeah, don't want to destroy THAT great institution!

There are of course, different situations, polarities, so to speak, and I'm not sure they would consider you to be boyfriend material, more harvestable or someone to utilize as a slave force.

The positives are not like this in any way. If you are an experiencer and you're having those kind of encounters, chances are strong its an altered dream state, and you're simply undergoing some harvesting or medical. If they're utilizing their abused women and children hybrids, that is most definitely Vrill.

The benevolents are simply not like this. And you might undergo testing to see how clear minded, mature, adult like, you are, and even if you have some impulses, how much awareness and attempts to be conscious of the ai program in your body suit you are, and how much you wish to overcome it. If you yearn for this enough, you will have help. They are simply not on this level, like this. Not saying in the least that families aren't the circle of life for many species, for their are. They are adults to our child, and very much in control of themselves, very clear, very much in control of their consciousness. They don't venture into this element with us.

Tests, well, they might start out the way you wish, but its kind of like, if you actually withdraw from the mental test, and pass it, you can be shown more, given more information or taken somehwere.

You make some great points... none of which I will debate you upon; although, the "institution of marriage" as a legal status is something you've entirely neglected. Albeit, marriage is a function of religion (not just judaic) within its history... currently it functions as a legal status within a body politic.

To submit to licensing is to submit to permission to do something that is otherwise illegal (or unlawful... depending upon where your are). Two people (aliens, homosexuals, a man and his pillow or the favored pets of some connected owner) can gather under the banner of any mythos for an accredited sanctification of their union. That in itself doesn't necessarily make someone "married" per say.

Your vilification of religion (and the audience can surmise the Judeo-Xian one) as an authority upon marriage still neglects the body politic (these are the people living outside your windows who are enamored with celebrity dancing, televised talent shows, can't find the Mississippi River on a map and don't know the difference between they're their and there) and their sanctification of unions.

If we're going to sling some mud, lets make sure we all get a bit dirty with it, eh? Especially when it comes down to the marketability of alien sex.

allow kids to go to school with yes. marriage is more complicated. if they can procreate and create hybrids then yes, i would support it. there would always be humans that preferred other humans so i wouldn't fear for the loss of my race too much.

Aaaaaah. then again, isn't that basically beastiality? i just don't know. at my heart i would be bothered by it. but there are questions i just can't answer. if they're intelligent like humans then i guess i could live with it. 'not my business i suppose.

I don't believe it would matter, at this point. You see, aliens and humans are probably not that much different anyway. I believe that we are here partially, if not completely because of aliens. I don't believe all of the bible stuff, if you want my opinion.
