Help, I'm Seeing, I Mean Not Seeing, Disappearing Threads?

Do entire threads just disappear without any explanation? I had just replied to a thread entitled "Right Wing Ideology In A Nutshell" and a few minutes later, it just disappeared. When I attempt to access it through myATS, I get a 404 error code.

Can anyone explain what just happened?

If your on to a good conspiracy TPTB will quickly take it down immediately.

Nope, usually just broke T and C, and got it deleted. Hope that clears it up for ya!

Shame, I really enjoyed the thread. Whether I agree with the terms used or not, it was a really good read that pointed out many of our problems.

Of course it had to be deleted.

Any time you paste content onto our site you are shown the following message:

The thread in question opened with two full posts that were directly copied and pasted from another source. The person who authored the thread has been contacted by our staff and is welcome to open the conversation again in a proper manner.

There's nothing else to it.

Just an observation ........

Were it ATS' policy to create a page explaining the details why something is deleted instead of just going to a 404, then this fellow (and others like him every week) wouldn't have had to create this thread, and you wouldn't have had to take the time to explain it here.

.... seems so obvious to me.
