Two men, both powerful political figures. As with all national leaders, their political fortunes come and go. Sometimes they go quietly, sometimes come back.

Next January, will we see a new face in the White House, and the return of an old, familiar one to the seats of power in Baghdad?

It is not outside of the realm of possibility.

Will Baghdad in late 2004 resemble Saigon in 1974?

Not a pleasant thought.

Yup, put back the Saddam Hussein double, you know the one we claimed to have captured. After ample brainwashing, it sounds like a plan, after all he would just continue whatever we want as his image and personality is totally imprinted within the minds of all Iraqi people. It is an interesting Pavlovian solution.

Somewhere in the World News Weekly it said Bush was traded for a double introduced through North Korean intelligence operatives, somewhere in Wyoming during a vacation years ago. Notice how he applauded the Chinese and wanted everything they wanted a few months ago? Presumably in this "scenario," Kerry has his North Korean brainwashed clone on the ready for more mahem.

Honest reading of what is happening makes even the most far out scenarios, not necessarily implausible.

?????

no, they got the real Sadam. The problem is, they can't keep him, and do you really trust the interim goverment to keep him secure?

He still has millions of dollars squirelled away. How long after he is turned over will he escape?
