BP hedging on role relief well in killing leak

From what I see in the article, it looks like they're not sure it's going to work, so they want to pump cement through the bop and into the well its self. Also, they finally came forward and said that there are leaks coming out of the sea floor around the well, however, they said that they are minor. Here's the link:
