Tempers are getting a little heated over benefits for ground zero workers sickened by exposure on 9/11.

Instead of doing the right thing, it turns into a pissing contest between parties. A common procedural tactic to bring the measure to a vote meant a 2/3rds majority was needed.

"the party of NO hit a new low" Classic!

Well said, I say. It's good to see there's still someone ready to get pissed off in there.

Documentartys ive seen on 9/11, the governor of NY promised them something like $55 million help money, for those that got sick. One interview wasa fireman. he never saw any of that money, and when filed accordingly and legaly, papers to access to some of it, getting sick from helping in 9/11 they gave him the run around. typical corporate modern day business., take n gype the customer as much as you can bank it and run.

Those who helped deserve at least every single solitary last penny promised by their leaders* guess they all learned, everuything is not what it seems, their leaders, are corporate whore liars
