Kosovan Prime Minister Hashim Thaci has set off for an official visit to the U.S., Alsat-M television station reports. He is scheduled to confer with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden. Thaci will hold meetings in the Department of State, Congress, World Bank and International Monetary Fund officials. His visit to the U.S. is taking place in a key moment when the International Court of Justice in The Hague is expected to give an advisory opinion on Kosovo’s independence.
