That is pretty interesting and to be honest, I think they will use results by people to actually make their moon base. The shape/form, etc.

This was on sale for like a week with a special steam sale that just ended yesterday. They were pretty much giving games away.

That seems pretty cool.

If you are in to flight sims, theres a great shuttle/space simulater called Orbiter.

Here's the site and some information...

Launch the Space Shuttle from Kennedy Space Center and rendezvous with the International Space Station.

Recreate historic flights with addon spacecraft packages: Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Vostok and more.

Plan interplanetary slingshots and tour the solar system with futuristic space craft.

Design your own rockets, or download addons created by other users.

Learn about the concepts of space flight and orbital mechanics by playing and experimenting

Lol thanks for that info. Other might find it useful. But I already have Orbiter. Very cool simulator. Especially if you get the high end quality images and all the new addons

I liked it alot. I have XPlane and it had some shuttles in it, so I wanted to see if there was a more space based simulator.

It is alot of fun.

Everything was on sale pretty much, was insane, but I just looked it up and Moonbase Alpha will be free apparently according to the sites I just looked at.

Alright

So the game came out and I downloaded it right away

Gotta say, its not that bad. I know it just came out so there is not much to do, but you can waste some time playing online. The teamwork part is pretty cool, unless your working with a bunch of nubs that don't do anything and fool around...I mean an asteroid almost hit the base, REPAIRS need to be done

Overall so far the game is great
Now I gotta wait till new content and add ons come out.

I played it with someone yesterday. My name on there is +Sh4nK+ if you see me say hello
I wont play a lot as the replay value is not great, but I will play sometimes.
